Mountain Bluebirds are back. So, it is time to get out and ride our bikes! However, the reality (i.e., cold headwind on the way home) is that putting in early season miles can be tough to motivate for unless you get some folks to suffer with ya. Hence, the "Mountain Bluebird Classic". With a good 15+ year run, this group ride has become a welcomed tradition in spring.
We are also kicking off the cycling season with shared miles and a shared purpose—helping restore bluebird populations in partnership with Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation’s (JHWF) Mountain Bluebird Nestbox and Color Banding Project.
So, bring a buddy to help ensure you get home all right. Or, make a friend by bringing some snacks to share. We start at Jackson Hole High School and generally “end” somewhere in Wilson before heading home.
