East Idaho Epic

400'ish mile bikepacking loop in the heart of Southeastern Idaho and Northern Utah. The route is a ride through history. Highlights of the route include a Historic Scenic Byway, historical (sites, buildings, homesteads, townships) a wildlife refuge and hot springs.

Idaho Falls, ID is the starting location. The route trends south towards the Utah border before returning to Idaho Falls. The route rides to two different hot springs, Lava Hot Springs and Maple Grove Hot Springs (Maple twice).

Please respect all private properties. Loads of camping and lodging options are available on public lands, designated campgrounds, KOA's, motels, resorts and even some "Urban Bivi" options. resupplies are available in Idaho Falls, Lava Hot Springs, Maple Grove Hot Springs (very limited), Preston, Franklin, Maple Grove Hot Springs (very limited), Niter-Bailey's Market, Soda Springs, China Hat Store.
