TNR
Tuesday night ride is a competitive drop group ride, with periodic regroups. Road tires are most appropriate for this ride, as it never hits dirt. There are usually some “finish lines” throughout the ride, with a regroup right after. Be ready for some fast riding and good times. TNR meets in the parking lot of Open Range Cycles, in the Target complex, at 6:15 every Tuesday, but is not run by the shop.
Unless otherwise stated, the ride meets every Tuesday. If you are ever unsure, the Velo22 Instagram posts updates most weeks, but assume it’s going.
April 29th 2025: Per many people’s requests, we will officially be having TWO groups leaving Open Range Cycles for TNR. One will be the regular group, which is generally faster paced with regroups after significant markers.
The “social” group will leave right after going in the same general direction, but will have a cap at 21mph, with no attacking. This group is meant to still have a fitness aspect, but a little more social and have a lower pace. Remember that when riding in a group, you are able to ride at a much faster pace due to drafting, so if 21mph still seems too fast, you may be surprised. Come on out and meet new people, and ride some bikes!
April 15th 2025: TNR is BACK! Meet at Open Range Cycles at 6:15 for some spring road riding. Feeling slightly out of bike shape? No problem, everyone is.
